Atelier Programme • Art School • Drawing & Oil Painting • Portraiture & Figurative • Holidays
Our Atelier programme is split into three stages. Beginner, Intermediate and Further Studies. The beginner and intermediate stages each have four modules. When these two stages have been completed you will be able to progress onto further more complex studies. Each stage will build your artistic abilities giving you the skills you need to draw and paint to a high standard.
The beginner stage is designed to take you from a novice with no experience to a competent amateur and to prepare you for the intermediate stage ahead.
We see the Atelier programme as a great pathway for learning how to become a competent artist. An historic proven method of learning from the Renaissance, as effective today as it was back then in the 16th century. Each step of the way you will be supported and tutored by a skilled artist, incorporating live demonstrations and a high degree of one on one tuition.
Figurative Evening Sessions
Figurative Evening Sessions
Figurative Model Sessions - Wednesdays 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
This is a 2-hour evening session with a model in our portrait and figurative studio. Dhan Ramdharry, local figurative and Portrait artist (Studied under Nicholas Beer, Anastasia Pollard and Martin Close) will support you to make the most of your 2-hour session. This isn’t a tutored class, but an open session for you to do model studies - drawing or painting. All abilities welcome. There will be a mixture of short and long pose studies, sitting, standing and reclining. You can purchase a ‘Pass’ giving you either 5 sessions to book in for or the full 10 sessions.
This course is suitable for both the beginner and the experienced drawer as our tuition methods are supportive to each individual students abilities.
