Anastasia Pollard is recognised as one of the top Classical Atelier Tutors in the UK and has successfully exhibited at the London BP Portrait Awards in years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 & 2017. Whilst she is best known for her portraits, Anastasia has a passion and talent for small floral beauties.
This is a small class with only 8 student spaces available. By popular demand, we have been asked to add this lovely two-day still life class to our 2020 masterclass programme. This masterclass is for improvers and advances artists and students wishing to learn the best ways of bringing beautiful flora to life on the canvas, through a still life study with fresh flowers.
This masterclass has been designed to guide you through the process of capturing a floral still life in oils to completion. Anastasia will demonstrate her style of painting a delicate still life flower study, so you can almost smell them!.
You will cover:
* Drawing in paint, mapping out your study with correct proportion and values
* Using a Zorn Palette of colours within a still life
* Edges and paint texture
Includes lunch. Materials not included.
We have a residential option for this masterclass (studio onsite, same building ). The residential price of £340 includes the course fee and 2 nights bed and breakfast in our lovely Edwardian Guesthouse. This is for single occupancy in a small double room.
